Sudharshan has an undergraduate degree in physical therapy and a Master’s in orthopaedic physical therapy.

Girish is a board certified Orthopedic specialist in physical therapy with over 20 years of experience in treating orthopaedics and sports injuries.

Heather graduated from the University of Alberta in 2018 with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy. Since graduating, she has taken courses in:

• Soft Tissue Release techniques
• Orthopedic manual therapy Level 1, Level 2 Lower body
• Vestibular Rehabilitation
• Mulligan techniques
• Dry Needling / IMS

Heather utilizes manual therapy techniques to help with pain management and therapeutic exercises to return people to their regular lives. During her free time, Heather enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, practicing yoga, xc skiing, swimming, and biking. She also likes to lose track of time with crafty hobbies such as crochet, knitting and drawing on her tablet.

Dr. Shayne is a Chiropractor who graduated from Palmer College in Iowa and has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Alberta.

Poongothai Krishnan (Pooja) graduated with Bachelor in Physiotherapy in 2000 and a Master of Physiotherapy in 2002. Pooja has extensive experience working as a physiotherapist in a wide range of healthcare settings. Pooja developed a particular interest in pelvic floor disorders, providing prenatal and postpartum physiotherapy services. Pooja continued her passion for continuing education and learning to attain advanced knowledge and skills in the assessment and management of Pelvic floor dysfunctions.

Pooja’s training and certifications in pelvic health physiotherapy:

• Level I, II and III course certification form pelvic health solutions.
• Menopause: An integrative approach for physiotherapists
• Bio-feedback Evaluation and treatment for elimination disorders and pelvic floor disorders
• Bio-feedback for complex pelvic floor cases
• Mobilization of Visceral fascia for treatment of pelvic dysfunctions, Level I
• The use of Pessaries for pelvic organ prolapse in pelvic floor rehabilitation

Pooja emphasizes patient education, imparts knowledge to her patients to understand their diagnosis, and empowers patients to have an active role in their recovery from pain and dysfunction. Pooja’s treatment plan is based on active exercises, self-management strategies, and a combination of manual therapy, acupuncture, and dry needling. Pooja enjoys travelling and camping outside of work and loves going on long road trips.

Pooja works out of both the Albany Square and Heritage Valley locations.

Megan is a graduate of the Masters of Physical Therapy program at the University of Alberta. She is passionate about helping patients improve their functioning to get them back to the things they love to do. In her spare time, she enjoys seeing family and friends, going to the gym and playing video games.

Leonora Osio graduated in 2017 from ACMT college and has been a full-time RMT since then. She was trained in Manual Osteopathic Therapy in Canada and graduated in October 2019 from MOCC- Edmonton. She believes that our body has the ability to heal itself, so she assists each individual and offers a range of techniques. She enjoys helping others and working with different states of health.

Vivien supports her patients with Deep Tissue, Therapeutic, Prenatal, Craniosacral, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Myofascial Release, Aromatherapy, Infant & Toddler Relaxation Massage. Her training includes:

• Certified Aromatherapy Health Therapist-2011 Graduated in Canadian Natural Therapist & Aesthetic Academy Toronto, Ontario
