During her free time, Heather enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, practicing yoga, xc skiing, swimming, and biking. She also likes to lose track of time with crafty hobbies such as crochet, knitting and drawing on her tablet.

Poongothai Krishnan (Pooja) graduated with Bachelor in Physiotherapy in 2000 and a Master of Physiotherapy in 2002. Pooja has extensive experience working as a physiotherapist in a wide range of healthcare settings. Pooja developed a particular interest in pelvic floor disorders, providing prenatal and postpartum physiotherapy services. Pooja continued her passion for continuing education and learning to attain advanced knowledge and skills in the assessment and management of Pelvic floor dysfunctions.

Pooja emphasizes patient education, imparts knowledge to her patients to understand their diagnosis, and empowers patients to have an active role in their recovery from pain and dysfunction. Pooja’s treatment plan is based on active exercises, self-management strategies, and a combination of manual therapy, acupuncture, and dry needling. Pooja enjoys travelling and camping outside of work and loves going on long road trips.
